BLS Friends of the Arts Summer Meeting and Potluck - August 19

The annual Friends of the Arts cookout and summer meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in Mr. Pitts' backyard at 81 Seaverns Ave in Jamaica Plain. Please join us!  All are welcome.  Please forward this to any incoming families that you think might be interested in joining us.

The FOA summer gathering is a great time to learn about the Friends of the Arts and meet other parents, especially if you don't always have time for meetings during the school year.  Grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and cold cuts will be available. We'll have a chance to catch up, and look ahead to the upcoming school year arts events. Parents are asked to bring salads, desserts, family favorites, or beverages, and an extra folding chair if you can.

The agenda for the meeting will include introductions for new parents, plans for the upcoming school year, updates from Mr. Pitts and specific requests for volunteer help in late August and early September.  Questions?  Contact FOA co-chairs Kristin Johnson, krisjohn@earthlink.net or Christina Yee, christinayee@rcn.com

Please RSVP to Christina Yee at: Christinayee@rcn.com, to let FOA know that you are coming so we can have enough food.

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer!!  We look forward to seeing you on the 19th.
